To my dear cousins and your families,
Also, to “mes oncles et mes tantes”
I was shocked and deeply saddened when I received the news that “ma tante Irene” had passed.
She was such a lovely person! She will be greatly missed!
I was blessed to have visited with her a few times this past summer while I was in PEI. I will always remember her quiet elegance and her genuine kindness…her beautiful smile and the sparkle in her eyes when she laughed. Also, I will always remember her beautiful dresses for every occasion…she had style.
It is at times like this that Montreal feels so very, very far away because I wish to be there in person to show my respect and express my condolences. However, as I reminisce I am also very aware of how blessed we are to belong to the Arsenault and Bernard families… and to have had such incredible role models like “ma tante Irene” …strength, courage, faith, and love to live a good life.
My heartfelt condolences go out to you all at this difficult time!
