Obituary of Arsenault, Sadie
It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Sadie Arsenault of Le Chez-Nous, Wellington, with her loving family by her side, at the Prince County Hospital, Summerside, on Wednesday, February 10, 2021, age 91 years.
Born on the Beaton Road, Coleman, on January 25, 1930, she was the daughter of the late Dosithée (Gus) and Lucy Anne (Arsenault) Gallant.
Beloved wife of the late Ernie Arsenault, cherished mother to Andy (Liette), Lucie (Bob Watson), Marie (Edgar Stewart), Barry (Jeanne), Joyce (Albin Arsenault), and Randy (Kim). Loving stepmother to Cheryl Ball, Colleen Logan, Corliss Kettner, and Cindy Lucas. Lovingly remembered by numerous grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
Survived by daughters-in-law Elise Milligan, Mary Eversfield, Annette MacDonald Newlove, sisters-in-law Pauline Stewart, Theresa McNeil, Orella Arsenault, Helen Sonier, Dot Tupper, Alvina Arsenault, brothers-in-law Aubin Peters and Windsor Arsenault.
Predeceased by her first husband Belonie (1981), her second husband Ernie (2020), sons, Ronald, David, Wendell, Leon, Mike; sisters, Mary, Rita, brothers, Leo, Albert, and Uncle Archie (Kye). Sadie was the last surviving member of the Gallant family.
Sadie's family would like to thank the wonderful staff of Le Chez-Nous who treated her like family.
Due to COVID 19 restrictions, a memorial service will be held at a later date.
Interment will take place at St. Philippe et St. Jacques church cemetery, Egmont Bay.
