Obituary of Gallant, Simone

The death occurred peacefully at her residence on May 9th , 2021 in Cape Egmont, surrounded by her loving family, of Simone Gallant (née Richard) at the age of 64 years. She was the loving wife of Raymond Gallant and daughter of the late Emmanuel Richard and Antoinette Richard (née Gallant) of Mont-Carmel. Simone is survived by her daughter Tammy (Paul) and son Greg (Jeanne) and by grandchildren Brookelyn and Jordyn who were her pride and joy. She is survived by brothers and sisters Doris (Louis), Ronald (Aline), Muriel (Roger), Maurice, Juliette (Yvon), Jean-Guy (Annette), Roger, Nicole, Zoel (Carol) and Alain. Also left to cherish her memory are brothers and sisters-in-law Melva, Corinne - deceased (Norman), Hermine (Eric), Edna (Camille), Yvon (Juliette), Paul (Janice), Leonce (Suzanne), Simon (Paulette) and Michel (Andrew) and by numerous aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins. She will be sadly missed by her numerous friends. Simone was predeceased by her parents and parents-in-law Claire and Aline Gallant. Resting at the Évangéline Funeral Home where due to COVID-19 restrictions, a private family service (by invitation only) will be held followed by the committal in the Notre-Dame-du-Mont-Carmel Church Cemetery.
