Obituary of Arsenault, Doreen Anne

The death occurred peacefully at the Summerset Manor, Summerside of Doreen Anne (nee Barriault) Arsenault on Friday, June 18th, 2021, at the age of 91 years. Born on December 2nd, 1929, in Maximville, Prince Edward Island, she was the daughter of the late Antonin and Marie Anne Barriault. Doreen will be greatly missed by her son Roy (Rita) Gallant, her grandchildren Serge (Melanie) Gallant of Stratford, PEI, Chantal (Scott) Gallant of Calgary, AB, and Michel Gallant of Surrey, BC. Also left to cherish her memory are her great grandchildren Caleb and Brielle and by numerous nephews and nieces. She is also survived by her sister Alphonsine (Joseph) Caissie. Doreen was predeceased by her first husband Tilmon Gallant, her second husband Alyre Arsenault, daughter Edith Gallant, and brothers Clarence and Raymond Barriault. A family gathering will take place at Évangéline Funeral Home, Monday, June 21st and then to the Saint-Philippe et Saint-Jacques Church, Egmont Bay for funeral mass, followed by interment in the church cemetery.
