Obituary of Arsenault, Jean-Guy
It is with great sadness that the family of Jean-Guy Arsenault announces his sudden passing on Sunday, June 27th, 2021 at his residence in Abram's Village, at the age of 60 years.
Born on November 25th, 1960 he was the son of the late Léo S. and the late Marie "Eva" (Gallant) Arsenault of Abram's Village.
Forever cherished and remembered by his beloved wife Claudette (Poirier) Arsenault, his sister Murielle Arsenault, and brother Gilles Arsenault of Abram's Village.
He is survived by his aunts and uncles Lorraine (Martin) Gallant, Arthémise (late Alfred) Gallant, Euclide (late Éliza) Gallant, Elda (late Ken) Capson, Lorraine (Roger) Arsenault, Aurele (Ruth) Gallant, Maurice (Vi) Gallant, Claire (Jean-Paul) Arsenault, as well as a large circle of cousins and friends.
He will be forever remembered by his step children Terry (Lauralea) Caissie, Janice (Shawn) Shea, Robert Caissie and Danielle (Randy) Caissie and was loved dearly by 14 step grandchildren.
He is also survived by brothers and sisters in-law Michael (Darlene) Poirier, Brenda (Terry) Rogers, Peter Poirier, Paulette (Simon) Arsenault, and Jason (Darlene) Poirier.
He was pre-deceased by his parents, an infant sister Suzette, aunt Beatrice (Donald) Cavanaugh, uncle Joe (Marjorie) Arsenault. grandparents Sylvère and Émilia Arsenault, Zenon and Beatrice Gallant, and sister in-law Elaine (Léonce) Arsenault.
Resting at Évangéline Funeral Home for a private service then a funeral service at Église St. Philippe et St. Jacques, Egmont Bay, Interment to follow in the church cemetery.
Due to COVID 19 restrictions, the services will be by invitation only.
As an expression of sympathy memorial donations in Jean-Guy's memory can be made directly to St. Philippe et St. Jacques Church, Egmont Bay.
