Obituary of Arsenault, Léo Joseph

It is with sadness in our hearts that we announce the passing of Léo F. Arsenault on Saturday, August 14, 2021 at Andrews Lodge, Summerside, formerly of Abram-Village, PE at the age of 88 years. Léo is survived by his loving wife Rita Arsenault. He will be forever missed by his loving children Marcel, Diane (Guy), Albin (Joyce), Norma (Pierre), Eldon (Martha), Melvin (Lynn), Claudette (Frank) and by his sisters Clara Robinson (Cameron-deceased), Geneva (Urbain) Arsenault and Zita (Paul) Richard. Also left to cherish his memory are his grandchildren Cynthia, Valerie, Andrew and great grandchildren Emile and Layla. He leaves behind numerous nephews and nieces. Léo will always be remembered by his in-laws Willie Caissie, Jeannette Arsenault, Ronald (Léona) Arsenault, Raymond (Zita) Arsenault, Desmond (Yvonne) and Florence Gillis (Roger). Predeceased by his parents Félix and Lina (LeClair) Arsenault, stepmother Marie (Poirier) Arsenault, his brother Félix (Junior), his sisters Thér&egravese Arsenault, Louise (Lévis) Arsenault, Marie Caissie, Yvonne Arsenault and brother in-law Alphonse Arsenault. Resting at the Évangéline Funeral Home, Urbainville where due to COVID-19 restrictions, visitations by invitation only will be held on Tuesday, August 17 from 1:30 p.m. to 2:30 p.m. then to the Saint-Philippe et Saint-Jacques Church for funeral mass at 3:00 p.m. followed by interment in the church cemetery. As an expression of sympathy memorial donations can be made to the Saint-Philippe et Saint-Jacques church, Egmont Bay.
