Obituary of Cormier, Emma Marie

It is with sadness in our hearts that we announce the passing of Emma Marie Cormier (née Arsenault) on Wednesday, September 8, 2021 at the O'Leary Community Hospital, O'Leary and formerly of Le Chez-Nous and St. Chrysostome, at the age of 94 years. Emma was the wife of Camille Cormier of Le Chez-Nous, Wellington and was the daughter of the late Arcade Arsenault and the late Madeleine Arsenault of St. Chrysostome. Emma will be forever missed by her loving children Ann M. Shaw (Michael), Gerard J. Cormier (Patti), and Nancy Patricia Kidd (Joseph). She will also be missed by her brother Amand Arsenault (Margaret) and by her sister Geralda Gallant (Archie (Ceny) - deceased) and by sister in-law Rita Arsenault (Eddy - deceased) Left to cherish her memory are her grandchildren Mathew Kidd, Theresa Kidd, Billie Jo (Tidwell), Jason Shaw, Jennifer MacDonald, Isaac Sunkes (Bridget) Alicia Titus (Kyle), Nicole Cormier, Danielle Davidson (Paul), Marie Cormier and numerous great grandchildren, nieces, nephews and cousins. Emma was predeceased by her brothers Eddy Arsenault and Edmond Arsenault and by her sister Yvonne Arsenault. Funeral service for the late Emma Cormier will be held at a later date. As an expression of sympathy memorial donations can be made to the Saint-Philippe et Saint-Jacques Church or to the Evangeline Funeral Co-op.
