Obituary of Noreen Margaret Arsenault
February 17, 1948 ~ January 7, 2025
With heavy hearts. we announce the passing of Noreen Arsenault (née Gaudet) at the Prince County Hospital, Summerside, on Tuesday, January 7, 2025 surrounded by her loved ones. Noreen was born in Wellington and resided in Mont Carmel and Summerside. Daughter of the late Eddie and Beatrice (Perry) Gaudet. Beloved wife of the late John Alden Cameron (1st marriage) and Urbain Arsenault (2nd marriage). Loving mother to Cindy, Karen (Alex McCann- deceased) and James (Lynda) Cameron and a cherished grandmother to Hunter, Fiona, Louisa and Finn. Noreen will forever be remembered by her sisters Mildred (Maxime) Arsenault, Betty (Joe) Arsenault, and Janita (Alfred) Arsenault. Predeceased by her sisters Doria (Eric) Richard and Joan (Blair) Heeschen, her brother Edward Gaudet and two brothers who died in infancy: Ralph and Cedric. She was also a cherished friend to Sharon Black, her sisters-in-law Marion Gillis and Eleanor Breau and other members of the Cameron family and her many nieces and nephews.
Resting at the Evangeline Co-op Funeral Home, 900 Route 124 Urbainville, until Friday, January 10, 2025, for visiting hours from 1:30 p.m. to 3:00 p.m., followed by a Service of Liturgy of the Word at 3:30 p.m. Interment in the Immaculate Conception parish cemetery in Richmond at a later date.
As an expression of sympathy in lieu of flowers, memorial donations in Noreen's memory to the Kidney Foundation of Canada would be greatly appreciated.
