Obituary of Hubert Joseph Arsenault

**** UPDATED **** October 29, 4:30 p.m. September 8, 1958 ~ October 24, 2024 The death occurred peacefully at the Prince County Hospital, Summerside, PE on Thursday, October 24, 2024, of Hubert Joseph Arsenault of Mont-Carmel at the age of 66 years. Born September 8, 1958, Hubert was the son of late Amedus Arsenault and Marie Anne Arsenault of St Timothy, PE. Hubert is survived by his sister Sandy (Eldon) Arsenault and by his brother-in-law Jimmy Gallant and by nieces and nephews: Michelle (Chris Goodwin), Rob, Shawn (Brenda) Yeo, Scott (Karen), Rodney, Merle (Danielle); great-nieces and great-nephews: Cassie Goodwin, Bentley, Keera, Jessie, Luke and Tyler. Predeceased by his parents Amedus and Marie Anne Arsenault; by his sister Zita Gallant (October 2023) and great-nephew Brandon (2007). Hubert was a great mechanic, a heavy machinery operator and a landscaper. He loved doing crafts, playing cards and playing his guitar. He was an “all-around nice guy” and will be deeply missed by all who knew him. Resting at the Évangéline Funeral Home, 900 Route 124 in Urbainville. A Celebration of Life for Hubert will be held on Friday, November 1, 2024, at 1:00 p.m. followed by a Liturgy of the Word service at 2 p.m. Following the service, interment will be held in the Notre-Dame-du-Mont-Carmel Church Cemetery, Mont-Carmel. Donations in Hubert’s memory can be made to the Notre-Dame-du-Mont-Carmel Church or to the Church Cemetery Fund would be greatly appreciated.
