Obituary of Louise Rose Arsenault

September 20, 1928 ~ September 12, 2024 It is with sadness in our hearts that we, the family of Louise Rose Arsenault (née Gallant) of Le Chez-Nous, Wellington and formerly of St. Chrysostome, announces her passing at the Prince County Hospital, Summerside, on Thursday, September 12, 2024, at the age of 95 years. Louise was the beloved wife of the late Joseph E. Arsenault and the cherished daughter of the late Cyrus Gallant and Edna (née Arsenault) Gallant of Urbainville. Louise will be dearly missed by her loving children: Marcel (Sheila), Donald (Bernice), Julien, Eldon (Jeannette), Noëlla (Paul) and Elmer (Joanne); by her brother Dolore (Melina) Gallant; by her grandchildren: Gilles (Christina), Robert, Paul (Christa), Christine, Rachelle (Andrew), Lynn, Nicole (Mario), Natalie (Steve), Estelle (Tyler), Dianne (David), Monique (Dan), Pierre, André, Jacintha (Rit), Jonathan, Matthew (Jaime), and Jonel (Jamie - deceased); by great grandchildren: Mairin, Makena, Alice, Eric, Tyson, Chloé, Christophe, Zachary, Mikaela, Brody, Jake, Ella, Oliver, Alex, Jessie, Brooklyn, Rory, Nellie and Logan. She will forever be remembered by numerous nieces and nephews. Predeceased by her parents, Cyrus and Edna; by her husband Joseph; by her son Simon and daughter-in-law Rolande; by her brothers and sister: Donat, Rita, Edmond, Tilmon, Edgar, Gustave and Elmer; and by numerous in-laws. Resting at the Évangéline Funeral Home, 900 Route 124, Urbainville, for visiting hours on Monday, September 16, from 6 to 9 p.m. Funeral mass on Tuesday, September 17 at 10:30 a.m. at the Saint-Philippe et Saint-Jacques Church, Egmont Bay. Interment to follow in the Parish Cemetery.
