Obituary of Gallant, Arthémise Marie

It is with sadness in our hearts that we, the children of Arthémise Marie Gallant of Urbainville, PE, announces her passing at the Prince County Hospital on Friday, January 7, 2022 at the age of 87 years. She was the wife of the late Alfred Gallant of Urbainville and daughter of the late Zenon Gallant and Arthémise Gallant (née Arsenault) and stepdaughter to the late Béatrice Gallant of Urbainville. Arthémise leaves behind her cherished children Ronnie, Louis (Marlene), Claude, Norman (Anna), Simon (Shelley), Richard (Heather Stewart), David (Linda) and Gloria (Kevin Doucette). She will also be lovingly remembered by her grandchildren Michelle, Ronnie Jr., Todd, Tanya, Angela, Marc, Rachel, Melissa, Christopher, Rebecca, Amanda, Kayden, Chelsey, Ashley, Stacey and Haillie also by 28 great grandchildren and 2 great-great grandchildren. Survived by stepsisters and stepbrothers Euclide (Éliza - deceased) Gallant, Elda (Ken - deceased) Capson, Lorraine (Roger) Arsenault, Aurel (Ruth) Gallant, Maurice (Vi) Gallant and Claire (Jean-Paul) Arsenault. She was predeceased by her husband Alfred Gallant, her parents Zenon and Arthémise Gallant, by her stepmother Béatrice, by her grandparents Ars&egravene and Madeleine Gallant also by stepsister and stepbrother-in-law Eva and Léo Arsenault. Resting at the Évangéline Funeral Home in Urbainville. Due to Covid 19 restriction a private funeral service will be held, by invitation. Interment in the Saint-Philippe et Saint-Jacques Church Cemetery will be held at a later date. Donations in Arthémise's memory can be made to the Cancer Society.
