Obituary of Richard, Adolphe Joseph
The death occurred peacefully at the Summerset Manor on Wednesday, January 12, 2022, of Adolphe Joseph Richard, at the age of 89 and formally from Wellington. Born on December 5th, 1932, to the late Glorice and Marie-Anne (nee Aucoin) Richard from Cape Egmont.
Beloved husband of Leona (nee Gallant), and left to cherish his memory are his children, Thelma (Roger) Bernard, Paul (Noella), Dianne (Robert) Gallant and Marcel (Jolline).
Adolphe will also be fondly remembered by his grandchildren Krista {David), Shawn (Marlie) Jamie (Ashley), Matthew (Jaime), Jonel (the late Jamie Caseley), Skyler (Joey). Also his great grandchildren Lucas, Anabelle, Nate, Brooke, Lucas, Ethan, Logan, Rory and Nellie.
He will be forever remembered by his sisters Melina Richard of Moncton, Bertha Richard (Gordon Perry) of Summerside and his sisters-in-law, Rosella Richard, Angele Richard (Melvin Bernard) and Maria Bernard. Also by several cousins, nieces and nephews.
Besides his parents, he was predeceased by his sisters Sr. Marguerite, CND, Helene (late Joe Derasp), and Isabelle (in infancy) and by his brothers, Cyril, Arsene (late Laurielle), Martin, Eric (late Doria) and Robert.
Resting at the Evangeline Co-op Funeral Home, Urbainville then to the Immaculate Conception Church in Richmond where a funeral mass will be celebrated. Interment will take place in the church cemetery at a later date. Due to Covid 19 restrictions, a private funeral service will be held, by invitation.
As an expression of sympathy, in lieu of flowers, memorial donations made in Adolphe's memory to the Wellington Volunteer Fire Department where he served as a fireman for many years, would be greatly appreciated.
