REVEREND EDDIE CORMIER February 10, 1941 - April 12, 2022 It is with great sadness that we, the family of Reverend Eddie Cormier of Abram-Village , announces his sudden passing at the Prince County Hospital on Tuesday, April 12, 2022 at the age of 81 years. Born February 10, 1941, he was the beloved son of the late Glorice Cormier and the late Julitte (Bernard) Cormier. Left to mourn his passing are his cherished brothers and sisters Eva (Léo) Richard, Aline (Gérald - deceased) LeBlanc, Marc (Doris) Cormier, Yvonne (Adelard - deceased) Pitre, Albert Cormier, Yvon (Yvette) Cormier and by his sisters-in-law Brenda and Cathy. Father Eddie was predeceased by his parents and his sisters Anita (Narcisse) Gautreau, Marie Anne (first husband Bazil (Jeb) Campbell and second husband Dean Taylor), by brothers Léo (Thér&egravese) Cormier and Louis Cormier. Father Eddie left a memorable impression on everyone he met. We keep hearing tributes from friends, family and parishioners of how he made them feel like they were important and loved. In his own humble way he was able to make you feel seen and heard. His love of the Lord was only matched by his love of the people in his life. Resting at the Évangéline Funeral Home, 900 route 124, Urbainville, for visitations at the funeral home on Monday, April 18 from 2 - 4 p.m. and 6 - 9 p.m. Father Eddie Cormier will "lie in state" at the Notre-Dame-du-Mont-Carmel Church, Mont-Carmel on Tuesday, April 19 from 12 noon - 1:45 p.m. for visitations with Funeral Mass at 2 p.m. Interment will take place in the Saint-Philippe et Saint-Jacques Church Cemetery, Egmont Bay at a later date.
