Obituary of Arsenault, Therese M.

The death occurred at the Prince County Hospital, Summerside, on Tuesday, Feb. 23, 2010, of Therese M. Arsenault, wife of the late Herman Arsenault, at the age of 83 years. The last surviving member of her family, she is the daughter of the late Theodore and Marie (Arsenault) Geneau. She is survived by her loving sons and daughters: Ernest at home in Summerside; Eva (Edgar) Arsenault of Urbainville; Celina (Raymond) Arsenault of St. Chrysostome; Marie (Ernest) Campbell of Wellington Centre; Rosalie (Benny) Coughlin of Conway Road; Dorise (Craig) Strand of Fort MacMurray, Alta.; Gloria (John) Johnston of Summerside; Leona (Jack) Brown of Edmonton, Alta.; and Gavin at home. Also 21 grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren. Besides her loving husband and parents, she was predeceased by three brothers, a sister and one grandchild. Resting at the Evangeline Funeral Home until Friday, Feb. 26, then to St. Philippe et St. Jacques Church, Egmont Bay, for funeral mass at 11 a.m. Visitation shall be received on Thursday from 6-9 p.m. only. As an expression of sympathy, memorial donations to the Heart and Stroke Foundation would be greatly appreciated. Interment will be in the church cemetery.
