Obituary of Gallant, Father Raymond

The death occurred very peacefully at the Summerset Manor on Wednesday April 14, 2010 of Father Raymond Gallant at the age of 85 years. He is the son of late Antonin and Hermina (nee Arsenault)Gallant. He is survived by brothers and sisters Louise F. Arsenault St. Gilbert; Rose (Mark) Gallant Hamilton, Ont.; Mae (Len) McNeill Richmond;Velma(Clarence) Arsenault Pennsylvania,USA Cedric (Judy) Wellington and Donat(Donalda) Gallant Abram Village and brother-in-law Curtis Beaton and sisters-in-law Lorraine Martin and Viola LeClair. Besides his parents, he was predeceased by brothers Eldon, Dionel and Melvin and sisters Agatha, Anita and Elenore and brothers-in-law Felix Arsenault and Wyman McPhee and a sister-in-law Bernadette Gallant. He was a missionary for White Fathers in Africa for 22 years. Resting at the Evangeline Funeral Home until Saturday , then to St. Philippe & St. Jacques Church for funeral mass at 10;30 am. Visitation shall be received on Friday 2-4 and 7-9 and then on Saturday at the church from 9;00 until time of funeral. As an expression of sympathy, memorial donations to a charity of your choice would be appreciated. Interment will be in the church cemetery
