Obituary of Bernard, Richard

The death occurred at his home in Mont Carmel on Friday, May 14, 2010 of Richard Bernard, dear husband of Rita (nee Gallant) at the age of 69 years. He is the son of late Joseph and Irene (Poirier) Bernard. Besides his wife, Rita he will be remembered by his son and daughters Lisa (Kenneth) McGuigan, Cornwall, PEI: David (Trish) of York, PEI; and Ginette Bernard of Eldon, PEI and his beautiful grandchildren Benjamin, Adam, Dawson, Hannah and Brittany. He is also survived by his brothers and sisters Florence Czako of Montreal, Louise (Roland ) Gauthier of Toronto, Roger (Leona) Bernard of Richibuctou, NB , John (Gisele) Bernard of Toronto and Robert (Yvonne) Bernard of Mont Carmel. Besides his parents, he was predeceased by his brother-in-law George Czako. Resting at the Evangeline Funeral Home until Tuesday, then to Notre Dame du Mont Carmel Church in Mont Carmel for funeral mass at 11 a.m.Visitation shall be received on Monday 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. He was the president of Wellington Snow Riders Club. As an expression of sympathy, memorial donations to Heart and Stroke Foundation or Mont Carmel Parish would be greatly appreciated. Interment will be in the church cemetery.
