Obituary of FitzGerald, Harry H.J.

The death occured very peacefully at the Prince County Hospital on Monday August 9th 2010 of J. H.Harry FitzGerald of Richmond, dear husband of Betty, at the age of 91 years. Harry was born on the Centre Line Road in Palmer Road parish to his late parents Maurice and Gertrude (MacLean)FitzGerald. Besides his wife, he is survived by sons and daughters, Jocelyn (Ron) MacDonald of Harmony; Joyce FitzGerald of Wilmot Valley; Janine FitzGerald of Brampton, Ontario; Shaun(Anne)FitzGerald of Sherbrooke; Brendon FitzGerald of Richmond; Erin FitzGerald of Summerside and Patrick (Charmaine) FitzGerald of Summerside; also by 2 brothers Roy (Vera) FitzGerald of Toronto, Ontario; Edwin FitzGerald of Ottawa, Ontario; brother-in-law & sisters-in-law Harry Snow of Charlottetown; Joan FitzGerald of Bayside and Rita of Colorado US; numerous nieces and nephews as well as 9 grandchildren: Jason (Tanya)Stewart and Jordan Stewart; Bethany (Curtis) MacDonald; Jenna, Katelyn, and Travis FitzGerald; Tommy (Roxanne), Joey and Jonathan FitzGerald and one great granddaughter Emily Stewart; in-laws Erma, Audrey, Doris, Blair (Theresa) Ramsay, all of Ontario; Francy (Carl) Campbell of Harmony; and Darrell of Arlington. Besides his parents, he was pre-deceased by son Kevin and brothers George, Lester, Lorne, Fred, Vernon, Maurice Jr. FitzGerald and sisters Eileen Praught, Rita Mattsson, Dorothy Gaudet and Kay Snow. He was a Veteran of WW2. Resting at the Evangeline Funeral Home until Thursday then to Immaculate Conception Church Wellington for funeral mass at 10:30 a.m.. Visitation shall be received on Wednesday, 2-4 and 7-9pm. The Wellington Canadian Legion will have a Remembance Service at the funeral home at 6:45pm on Wednesday. In lieu of flowers, memorial donation to CNIB OR Wellington Church cemetery would be greatly appreciated. Interment will be in the church cemetery.
