Obituary of Cormier, Lucie Marie
It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Lucie Marie Cormier (nee Gallant) with her childrens by her side at the Summerset Manor, Summerside on Friday, December 14, 2012 of Wellington.
Wife of the late Edmond Cormier. She was born on May 9, 1936 in Egmont Bay to her late parents Joseph and Mélanie Gallant (nee Arsenault). She is survived by sons and daughter Claude (Marianne) of Toronto, Maurice of Edmonton, Alberta, Angela (Alan) Maclean of Red Deer Alberta, Dennis(Elise) of St. Raphael, Ronald, Lawrence (Michelle) and Jamie (Tammy) of Wellington. Survived by brother and sisters Jacques (Hermine) Gallant, Vitaline (Donat) Arsenault and Evélyne (Edmond) Gallant.She also survived by a sister in-law Ida Gallant. Lucie had many lovely granchildren; Ryan, Kendra, Denise, Kristofer, Matthew, Abbey, Zakary, Julien, Benoit, Kyle, Kaiden,and great grand-daughter Brynn. She is also survived by numerous brothers in-law and sisters in-law.
Predeceased by her parents, daughter Mona Arsenault, daughter in infancy Elizabeth and a grand-daughter Michaela. Predeceased by brother Léo (Adelina) and Camille.
Resting at Evangeline Co-op Funeral Home, Urbainville until Monday, December 17, 2012 then to the Immaculate Conception Church, Wellington Center, for funeral mass at 10:30 a.m. Interment in the church cemetary. Visitation to take place on Sunday, December 16, 2012 from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. At the request of the family donations to Alzheimer Society and Evangeline Co-op Funeral Home Building Fund or a charity of your choice would be greatly appreciated.
