Obituary of Gallant, Eric Joseph

The death occurred peacefully at his late residence on Saturday February 15, 2014 of Eric Gallant of Abram's Village aged 75 years. Eric was born on June 1, 1938 in Abram's Village to his late parents Aubin J.L. and Sylvina (nee Bernard) Gallant. Beloved husband of Marie Anna (nee Arsenault) Gallant. Survived by his children Roger (Jeanne) Gallant, Gis&egravele (Micheal) Arsenault, Normand, Alfred, Francine (Eric) Arsenault, Carol (Zoel) Richard, Paulette (Donald) Gallant, Jeannette Gallant (Richard) Barriault and Rachelle (Jamie) Caissie. Survived by brothers and sisters Norman, Léo, Matt, Paul (Théresa) Léona (Adolphe) Richard, Eliza (Euclide) Gallant and also by sister-in-law Cécile and Louise. Eric is also survived by his loving 23 grand children and 3 great grand children. Predeceased by brothers and sisters Théodore, Amand, Nélida, Edgar, Alfred, Jéanne, Aline and brother-in-law Adélard and Félix. Resting at Evangeline Co-op Funeral Home, Urbainville until Friday February 21, 2014 then to St.Philippe and St.Jacques Church, Egmont Bay for funeral mass at 10:30 a.m. Interment in the church cemetery at a later date. Memorial donations in Eric's memory to the Evangeline Co-op Funeral Home Building Fund would be greatly appreciated. By the request of the family there will be no visiting hours. Completion of funeral arrangements have been entrusted to Evangeline Co-op Funeral Home, Urbainville.
