Obituary of Cormier, Yvette Judith
Surrounded by her loving family, at the Prince County Hospital, Summerside, Yvette Judith (nee Gallant) Cormier died peacefully on Wednesday October 08th , 2014 at the age of 86 years. Formally from St. Philippe, she resided at Le Chez- Nous Ltd. Wellington. Born on August 21st ,1928 in Abram's Village daughter of the late Hector and Marie Jeanne Geneviene (nee Arsenault) Gallant.
Beloved wife of Alyre Francois Cormier. Yvette is survived by her children: Jeannine (Chris) Rushton of Moncton, Paul Cormier of Charlottetown, Melvin Cormier of Vancouver, Eunice (Paul) Kennedy of Lot 16,Donald (Amanda) Cormier of St. Hubert and Michel (Tammy) Cormier of Summerside.
Survived by one sister Laurette Gallant of Quebec.
She will also be missed by her grandchildren: Jelisa, Bailey, Hannah, Samantha, Matthew, Joshua and Martina.
Predeceased by her parents, son Simon, brothers Gérard, Théodore, Alcide, sisters Thérèse and Geralda.
Resting at the Evangeline Co-op Funeral Home, Urbainville until Monday October 13th , then to St. Philippe and St. Jacques Church, Egmont Bay where funeral mass will be celebrated at 10:30 a.m. Interment in the church cemetery. Visiting hours will be held on Sunday October 12th , from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m.
