Obituary of Bourgeois) Gallant, Elvina Marie

　 The death occurred at her home in Kensington on Monday October 27, 2014 of Elvina Marie (nee Bourgeois) Gallant, wife of the late Théodore (Ted) Gallant at the age of 85 years. She was born in Chéticamp, Nova Scotia on February 12th, 1929 to her late parents, Kenneth and Marie (nee LeBlanc) Bourgeois. Elvina is survived by her loving daughter Nicole Gallant and by sisters, Jeannette Aucoin of Chéticamp and Laura Doucet of Montreal,sister-in-law Marguerite Gallant. She also survived by numerous nieces and nephews. Besides her parents and husband, Elvina was predeceased by her sisters Sara, Louise and Annie, her brothers Ephraim, Angus, Arthur, Joseph and Johnny and brothers- in-law and sisters -in -law. Resting at the Evangeline Co-op Funeral Home, Urbainville until Monday November 3, then to the Notre Dame du Mont Carmel Church, Mont Carmel where funeral mass will be celebrated by Fr. Eloi Arsenault at 11:00 a.m. Interment in the church cemetery. Visiting hours will be held on Sunday November 2 from 6 to 9 p.m. only. As an expression of sympathy, memorial donations to the Notre Dame du Mont Carmel Church, the Cat Action Team or to the charity of your choice would be greatly appreciated.
