Obituary of Gallant, Wilfred Joseph

With heavy hearts and with his family by his side, we announce the passing of Wilfred Joseph Gallant, age 83 years, at the Saint John Regional Hospital, Saint John, N.B. on Wednesday, May 27, 2015. Formerly from Le Belle Age, Wellington and St. Raphael, Wilfred was born in Cape Egmont on June 3, 1932 son of the late Albenie and Alina (nee Arsenault) Gallant. He was a devoted husband to Léonie Marie (nee Richard) and loving father to Yvette (Paul) Poirier, Paulette (Eric) Poirier, Jean Paul (Monique) Gallant and Janice (Stephen) MacComack. Wilfred was a passionate grandfather to Nicole, Pierre, Carole, Patrick and a great grandfather to Arielle, Sofie, Jackson and Luke. Also cherished and forever in the hearts of his sisters and brother Exina Richard, Glorice (Marguerite) Gallant, Dorina (Lionel) Arsenault and Florence Bernard, sister-in-law Géralda Gallant and brother-in-law Antoine Richard. He was predeceased by his parents, brother Archie (Cené), Léo, sister Denise, sister in infancy Dorina, brothers-in-law Léonce and Oxybé. Resting at the Evangeline Coop Funeral Home, Urbainville until Saturday, May 30, 2015 then to the Notre Dame du Mont Carmel Church, Mont Carmel where funeral mass will be celebrated at 10:30 A.M. Interment to take place in the church cemetery. As an expression of sympathy, memorial donations in Wilfred's memory to the Notre Dame du Mont Carmel Church or to the charity of your choice would be greatly appreciated.
