Obituary of Arsenault, Edna

Edna Arsenault 1922-2017 The death occurred at Prince County Hospital on July 21, 2017, of Edna Arsenault, aged 94 years. Edna was currently living at Le Chez-Nous community care facility in the Evangeline area, and is formerly from St-Timothée. Born on November 20, 1922, she was the daughter of the late Jean and Marianne (Cormier) Richard. Edna is survived by her two daughters, Zita (Edmond) Gallant and Bernice (Louis) Arsenault; her daughter-in-law, Teréz Rétfalvi (Arsenault); five grandchildren, Micheline (Denton) Gardiner, Nadine (Brad) Samson, Ghislain (Sylvie) Gallant, Marc (Karine) Arsenault and Christian Gallant; nine great-grandchildren, Renée, Gabrielle, Janelle, William, Samuel, Thomas, Natalie, Carolanne and Hayden; her brother Antoine; and several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her husband Georges; her son Frédéric; her parents Jean and Marianne; her brothers and sisters Marguerite, Albert (Rita), François (Délima), Augustin (Bella), Marie (Abel), Louise (Simon), as well as her sister-in-law Denise. Family and friends may pay their respects at the Evangeline Funeral Home in Urbainville on Tuesday, July 25 from 2:00-4:00 p.m. and 7:00-9:00 p.m. The funeral mass will be celebrated at Notre-Dame-du-Mont-Carmel church on July 26 at 10:30 a.m. Donations in Edna's memory can be made to Notre-Dame-du-Mont-Carmel parish or a charity of your choice.
