Obituary of Arsenault, Marie Anne
The death occurred peacefully at the Prince County Hospital on Sunday, December 9, 2018, of Marie Anne Arsenault at the age of 84 years. She was presently residing at Le Chez Nous in Wellington.
Born on July 18, 1934, Marie was the daughter of Victorin and Eufrida (Gaudet) Arsenault of St. Chrysostome.
She leaves to mourn her brothers Nazaire (Ned), Percy (Gina), sisters Lucia (Edmond), Jackie (Melvin) and Antoinette (Ivan), brothers-in law Ivan Pineau, Louis Bilodeau and sisters-in-law Eveline, Rita, as well as numerous nieces and nephews.
Marie was predeceased by her parents Victorin and Eufrida, her brothers Louis, Leonard (Claudette), Edgar, Raymond, sisters Leona, Irene and sister-in-law Merina.
Resting at the Evangeline Funeral Home, Urbainville, for visitation on Tuesday, December 11, 2-4 p.m. and 7-9 p.m.
Funeral mass will be celebrated at St. Philippe et St. Jacques Church, Baie Egmont, on Wednesday, December 12, at 10:30 a.m. Interment to take place at a later date.

Marie Anne Arsenault
The funeral mass for Marie Anne Arsenault (Marie V.) of Le Chez-Nous in Wellington and formerly of St.- Chrysostome was held on Wednesday, December 12, 2018 at Saint-Philippe & Saint-Jacques Church, Egmont Bay.
The celebrant for the mass of Christian burial was Father Michel Painchaud who proclaimed the Gospel, delivered the homily and read the prayers of final commitment and farewell. Seated in the sanctuary were Father Eddie Cormier and Father Albin Arsenault.
The readings and the prayers of the faithful were read by Géraldine Tremblay and Dennis Pineau. The cross-bearer was Odette Gallant and candle bearers were Louise Bernard and Isabelle Bernard. Eucharistic Ministers were Zelma Arsenault, Father Albin and Father Michel. Active pallbearers were John Arsenault, David Pineau, Christian Arsenault, Eric Arsenault, Robert Arsenault and Dennis Gallant. Flower bearers were Paula Gallant and Maria Kelly. The church choir was under the direction of Debbie Rousselle-Montgomery. Management and staff of Le Chez-Nous were in attendance.
Interment will take place in the church cemetery at a later date.
Arrangements were entrusted to the Evangeline Funeral Home, Urbainville.
